Developer 16 Zhang Mahjong Club and publisher Playmeow have launched the adult-oriented single-player title Girl X Love X Mahjong on Steam. The game centers on a protagonist working to pay off significant debts by managing a mahjong studio alongside his boss.
The gameplay utilizes the 16-tile Taiwanese mahjong format. Players can acquire skills from a mysterious manual to gain advantages, such as manipulating starting hands, swapping tiles, peeking at opponents' hands, or forcing self-drawn wins. Additionally, players can train female characters to act as accomplices during matches.
To assist players, the game includes features like automatic play and notifications during the waiting phase that suggest which tiles to discard for maximum points. Once specific progress is made, a free mode becomes available, allowing users to customize match rules and select characters.
The game features six romanceable characters, including a flight attendant and a live streamer, accompanied by 18 fully animated adult scenes with full voice acting. It is currently available on Steam for 178 New Taiwan Dollars, with a 10% launch discount valid until October 31.
