The latest hero voting event in Deadlock has concluded, resulting in the addition of Nurse Harrow to the game's roster. She joins other recently introduced characters such as the Rat King, Baba, Solomon, Deadman Danny, and Violet as part of the City Never Sleeps update.
Valve reported that 110 million total votes were cast during the event. While Nurse Harrow initially appeared to struggle, she secured her spot despite only 22,194 players voting exclusively for her. Notably, one dedicated individual contributed exactly 1,000 votes toward her selection.
Beyond the voting results, Valve observed that players who supported Nurse Harrow demonstrated a higher win rate compared to those who voted for other heroes. The event also highlighted a tight competition between Baba and Solomon for second place, with Baba noted for unique abilities like turning enemies into pigeons.
The conclusion of this event leaves uncertainty regarding future community activities, as Valve maintains an unpredictable development schedule. Only 847 players successfully predicted every round's winner throughout the entire process, highlighting the difficulty of the community-driven selection.
