Microsoft has officially released WinUI Gallery 3.0, a new blueprint designed to guide developers in creating applications for Windows 11. This update aims to accelerate innovation, ultimately improving the quality and performance of software used by consumers.
The release introduces a framework allowing developers to test experimental features from the Windows App SDK early. Programmers can evaluate interface components such as TableView, Charts, and Wrap Panel before their public debut, enabling the community to provide direct feedback to Microsoft.
Version 3.0 includes quality-of-life improvements, such as a smarter search system utilizing tags to locate interface samples. Furthermore, navigation is enhanced with support for back and forward mouse buttons, mirroring the experience of a web browser.
While not intended for general PC users, this tool is vital for backend development. By providing integrated design standards and flexible testing, Microsoft expects future Windows 11 applications to become more modern, stable, and user-friendly.
