The action RPG Torchlight: Infinite officially launched its SS14 season, titled Talos's Beast, on October 16 at 10:00. This update introduces a new seasonal mechanic where players act as wardens to suppress prison riots and capture fugitives.
The season adds the new follower progression system and the third hero trait for Youga, known as The Last Man. These additions are accompanied by the Spirit assist system, alongside various skill adjustments and general gameplay optimizations designed to expand build diversity and loot-hunting experiences.
To support players, the developer launched the New Trait Guide series featuring veteran player Shi Kong. This initiative provides tutorials and strategy documents covering everything from beginner progression to endgame challenges, specifically focusing on mastering The Last Man hero trait.
The launch includes community events such as the Goddess Cup, where nine streamers compete to defeat the Lord of the Void at Tier 7. Additionally, players can earn rewards through Twitch drops by watching eligible streams or by sharing their own character builds on social media for a chance to win prizes like the 2026 Torchlight Carnival Commemorative Gift Box.
