Ubisoft and Tencent collaborated on a project titled Assassin's Creed Destiny, an ambitious adventure set in imperial China that was never officially announced. According to reports from MP1st, the game was developed by TiMi Studio Group, a Tencent-owned developer, as a standalone title for current platforms before its eventual cancellation.

The leaked materials, which include gameplay footage and images from a February 2025 prototype, depict a setting in 206 B.C. during the final years of the Qin dynasty. The footage showcases core series mechanics such as stealth assassinations, parkour, and the iconic leap of faith. Unique additions include a rotating umbrella weapon, Chinese painting-inspired ability icons, and a yin-yang themed interface.

The prototype features an assassin infiltrating a palace besieged by the historical figure Xiang Yu. While the footage shows both male and female characters, it remains unclear if gender selection was a planned feature or if the models were merely placeholders. The project was reportedly scrapped following a restructuring at TiMi Studio Group and a shift in Tencent's investment strategy.

Despite the cancellation of Destiny, Ubisoft confirmed in March that Assassin's Creed Jade, a separate mobile title also developed by TiMi Studio Group, remains in active development. That project currently lacks a confirmed release date.
