H2 Interactive announced that the latest downloadable content for the PlayStation 5 version of Paradox Interactive’s strategy RPG, Crusader Kings III, launched on October 15. The new releases include the Khans of the Steppe expansion and the Coronations event pack.
Khans of the Steppe introduces nomadic government mechanics centered on grazing and migration. Players must adapt to changing soil fertility across the steppe regions while managing a flexible vassal system. The expansion also features Mongolian-themed content, allowing players to step into the role of Genghis Khan, utilize the Khurultai council, and participate in traditional events like Tsagaan Sar.
The Coronations event pack focuses on the legitimacy of rulers. Players can host grand ceremonies to impress vassals and neighbors, though they must navigate political risks from opposing factions. Participants must declare their royal vows, with the potential to either uphold their promises or become a despised false king.
These additions are available individually or through the Crusader Kings III: Chapter IV bundle on the PlayStation Store. Purchasing the Chapter IV collection grants immediate access to Khans of the Steppe, Coronations, and the Crowns of the World pack, which includes new cosmetic items like crowns, hairstyles, and beards.
