Apparel brand GU has announced a new Pokémon collaboration collection scheduled for release on October 23, 2026. Inspired by the theme of trainers and Pokémon living in the forest, the line features eight items including knit jackets, fleece tops, and loungewear for men and children. The collection utilizes natural color palettes and outdoor-inspired elements to integrate iconic characters into everyday seasonal fashion.
The collection highlights include a zip-up knit jacket featuring Pikachu silhouettes within geometric patterns, available in earthy tones like brown and dark blue. Additionally, a fleece half-zip pullover offers a more subtle approach, incorporating small character motifs, contrasting trim, and functional design details. These pieces aim to provide versatile styling options that appeal to both dedicated fans and those seeking casual, everyday attire.
The range extends to children's apparel, featuring popular characters such as Pikachu and Eevee alongside the classic slogan, "Gotta catch 'em all!" Adults can also participate in the theme through matching parent-child outfits or comfortable long-sleeve loungewear sets designed for relaxation, allowing the franchise to accompany wearers through various daily activities and home settings.
The collection will be available at all GU stores in Taiwan and via the online shop. However, customers should note that the Taipei Ximen, Mingyao, Tainan Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Ximen, and Kaohsiung Hanshin Arena stores will not carry the children's clothing items.
