HoYoverse has officially announced that the 3.3 update for the urban fantasy action RPG Zenless Zone Zero, titled Journey Back to the Sky, is scheduled to launch on October 21.
The update introduces two new S-rank agents. Phione, a fire-attribute anomaly agent, will lead the first half of the version, while the attack agent Severian will arrive in the second half.
Phione, the second-in-command of the Krampus Black Branch, features a unique core skill called Nirvana. This ability inflicts the Scorched status on enemies, allowing subsequent anomaly damage to trigger critical hits. Furthermore, her passive skill, Resurgence, enables her to revive with full health after receiving a fatal blow, ensuring she remains on the battlefield.
To showcase these mechanics, the developer released a character demonstration video titled Don't Die Challenge. Phione will debut alongside her signature S-rank W-Engine, Nirvana Feather.
