Gravity has announced the official launch of its new MMORPG, RO Ragnarok: Pocket Tactics, scheduled for October 23 across PC, App Store, and Google Play. Pre-downloads for the title are currently available on all platforms.
The game features a Q-style hand-drawn aesthetic and emphasizes a relaxed gameplay experience. Players can switch between multiple professions by changing weapons and benefit from an offline progression system that supports up to 12 hours of resource accumulation. Combat allows for capturing defeated MVP bosses as pets, while the game economy supports free trading of items without tax.
A limited-time collaboration with the manga series City Hunter begins on launch day and runs until November 21. The event includes a board game-style mode called XYZ Pursuit, featuring iconic locations like cafes and detective offices. A second phase will introduce exclusive City Hunter professions, including characters Ryo Saeba and Kaori Makimura.
To celebrate the release, the developer is offering various incentives, including a free mount for every profession and a 100% success rate for equipment refinement up to +10. Additional events, such as the Adventurer Payday and guild competitions, provide further rewards like RO coins and card collections to assist new players.
