Kakao Games is bringing its MMORPG Dokkaebi World to the Daegu Contents Fair, held at Daegu EXCO from the 16th to the 17th. The developer is hosting an offline demonstration and various fan events during the exhibition.
The event is operated in partnership with Red Ice Studio, the owner of the Myeolgwi Sudojeon IP. Attendees can experience the game and participate in the boss raid content titled Baekun. Participation requires verifying game installation and subscription to official channels, with rewards including merchandise like pouches, t-shirts, photo card sets, and game coupons.
Dokkaebi World is a 2.5D MMORPG developed based on the popular Naver web novel and webtoon Myeolgwi Sudojeon. The title utilizes a hybrid visual style that combines 2D dot characters with 3D backgrounds to create a retro aesthetic alongside a sense of spatial depth.
Following its official release on the 8th, the game has achieved significant commercial success. It reached the number one spot for top grossing games on Google Play and secured the second position on the Apple App Store.
