4Divinity and Eschatology Entertainment announced that the soulslike FPS Guns of Eschaton will release on December 8, 2026. The title will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Set in a fictional 19th-century American West filled with occult and supernatural elements, the game blends first-person shooting with soulslike combat mechanics. Players take on the role of a mysterious gunslinger navigating an apocalyptic world.
Combat requires precise shooting, careful ammunition management, and mastering parry timing. Players can utilize a codex to identify enemy weaknesses and customize their approach using special ammunition and occult abilities. Character builds allow for the combination of firearms, talismans, armor, and various active or passive skills.
The entire game supports both solo play and two-player cooperative sessions, with character progression carrying over into co-op. A new trailer was also revealed during the Galaxies Showcase event to mark the release date announcement.
