Nintendo officially announced a revision to the repair costs for both the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch 2. This adjustment is attributed to the rising prices of necessary repair components.

The updated pricing structure will apply to all repair items that arrive at Nintendo facilities on or after November 16, 2026. The company confirmed this timeline via its official support channel.

Under the new policy, the cost to repair a CPU board will increase by 9900 yen including tax across all models. Additionally, repairs for issues such as damaged LCD screens, faulty game card slots, SD card reading failures, and audio malfunctions will see a uniform price hike of 1100 yen including tax.

Nintendo notes that the published figures serve as reference prices. If the initial repair or component replacement fails to resolve the reported issue, additional parts may be required, which will result in a final cost that differs from the initial estimate.
