Arrowhead Game Studios officially released update 7.2.0 for HELLDIVERS 2, titled Devoid of Liberty, on 20 October 2026. The developer announced the patch through the game's Steam news channel.
The update arrived simultaneously with the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond. This paid content track, which features new laser, bolt-action, and anti-material rifles, was previously confirmed for an October 20 launch via the PlayStation Blog.
While the update was promoted with a trailer on the Steam store page, the official announcement post notably omitted specific patch notes. It remains unclear if the Warbond content is technically integrated into the patch itself.
HELLDIVERS 2, published by PlayStation Publishing LLC, originally launched on Steam on 8 February 2024. The title is currently available for the Windows platform at a price of €39.99.
