Key information
From October 2 to October 4, the open-world RPG Neverness to Everness held a pop-up event titled Kurobane's Little Fortune-Telling at the OCAT Ponte Plaza in Osaka. This marked the first time the game has hosted a real-world event in the Osaka region.
The event centered on the new character Kurobane, a fortune-teller residing in the Witch's House who was recently added to the game following significant player demand. The venue featured thematic decorations, including crystal balls and stickers depicting feathers, which serve as the character's symbol.
Attendees participated in cosplay photo sessions featuring Kurobane and Rinko, with performers rotating every 30 minutes. The event also included a ReroRero telephone booth for recording messages intended for potential use in official broadcasts, alongside a message board where players expressed their appreciation for the game and the Osaka event.
Neverness to Everness is a free-to-play supernatural urban RPG available on PC, Mac, PS5, iOS, and Android. Players take on the role of an anomaly hunter tasked with resolving incidents within the city of Hetero City.
