Developer Aggro Crab announced that the cooperative climbing game PEAK will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22. The console versions will include all content updates previously released for the PC version on Steam, including the final major update titled THE FINAL ASCENT.
PEAK is a first-person climbing action game supporting up to four players. Participants play as scouts stranded on a mysterious island, working together to reach a mountain peak to escape. Gameplay involves navigating rugged terrain by placing ropes and pitons, while managing stamina affected by hunger and potential mistakes.
The game features maps that update periodically and is noted for its challenging difficulty despite its cute visual style. On Steam, the title has earned a Very Positive rating, with players praising its addictive nature and the enjoyment found in multiplayer sessions.
Console versions will support cross-platform play. Additionally, a physical edition for PlayStation 5 is available for pre-order, featuring a game disc with a Binbon plush design and a replica passport. Domestic release details for this physical version remain unannounced.
