Nuengnara "23savage" Teeramahanon, a hard carry player for Xipto eSports, claims that police raided the team's boot camp in Kuala Lumpur earlier this week. The player alleges that officers handcuffed the team and confiscated their belongings while questioning their professional status.
According to 23savage, officers verified his identity by checking his Instagram and observing him play a full Dota match. The player claims he secured 32 kills as the hero Kez during this session, which reportedly convinced the authorities to release the team.
While 23savage maintains the accuracy of his account in social media replies, the story has faced significant skepticism from Reddit users and other commenters who suspect the narrative may be a joke. The player also alleged that the officers stole two jars of Nutella before departing.
Despite the reported incident, Xipto eSports continues to perform well, recently securing a 10-match win streak at the EPL SEA tournament. The roster is currently competing for a position in the upcoming DreamLeague Season 30 tournament.
