SNK has officially launched the Nintendo Switch 2 version of its fighting game, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, as of today. The company released a launch trailer highlighting the title's unique gameplay styles and core features available on the platform.
The game introduces the REV battle system and a single-player RPG mode called EOST. It is designed to be accessible for newcomers while maintaining strategic depth for experienced players. Features include cross-platform online play with rollback netcode and simplified control schemes that allow for special moves and combos with a single button press.
Players can choose between the Standard Edition, priced at 139 HKD or 556 TWD, and the Starter Edition, which includes Season Pass 1 through 3 content for 209 HKD or 832 TWD. The Switch 2 version supports handheld, tabletop, and TV modes, enabling portable play for the series' fast-paced combat.
Digital versions are currently available on the Nintendo eShop. Additionally, a physical release of the Starter Edition is scheduled for January 21, 2027, with pre-orders expected to begin soon.
