Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War is nearing its conclusion as the final two episodes of the series are set to air. This marks the end of a 22-year journey for the franchise, which previously saw its original run cancelled in 2012 due to declining interest and excessive filler content.

The production team, led by creator Tite Kubo, has implemented narrative changes and enhanced animation quality throughout this adaptation. These final installments, part of the fourth and final delivery titled The Calamity, were delayed from their original schedule to allow the staff more time to refine the visual quality.

Fans are particularly interested in how the anime will adapt the manga's ending, which previously faced criticism. Kubo has noted that health issues impacted the original conclusion, leading to anticipation regarding potential additional scenes or expanded developments in the anime's version of the final conflict against Yhwach.

Episode 49 premieres on Japanese television on October 19, followed by the series finale, episode 50, on October 26. International viewers in Spain can access these episodes on Disney+ on October 20 and October 27, respectively, per VIZ Media distribution schedules.
