Cosmos Entertainment has announced a new update for the Cheongeum server of its classic MMORPG, Online Samgukji 2. The expansion introduces a fresh area known as Cheongeum Village.
Cheongeum Village features a new growth mechanic called Tempering, which allows players to enhance the stats of their weapons and armor. To access this region, users must first collect Cheongeum Fragments by defeating monsters in specific hunting grounds.
The Tempering system is designed with a 100% success rate, removing the risk of failure during equipment upgrades. If players are dissatisfied with their results, they can utilize existing resources like Awakening Marks or Maok to attempt the process again.
This update follows the Rebirth 2.0 promotion held in early October, which provided returning and new players with level 100 jumping and equipment support. Company representatives stated that the new content aims to benefit a wide range of users while offering high-performance gear goals.
