Astralis has officially transitioned to an international Counter-Strike 2 lineup, marking the conclusion of the organization's long-standing all-Danish roster era. The team finalized its active five-player squad following the October 9 benching of Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen and Jakob “jabbi” Nygaard.
The new roster features Kamil “siuhy” Szkaradek, formerly of Team Liquid, and Nikita “cmtry” Samolotov, who previously served as an AWPer for NAVI Junior and FUT. While siuhy joins the team, Astralis has not confirmed if he will retain his previous in-game leader role. Meanwhile, cmtry is expected to transition into a rifling position under the guidance of coach Filip “NEO” Kubski.
Victor “Staehr” Staehr remains the only Danish player in the current lineup, which also includes Love “phzy” Smidebrant and Gytis “ryu” Glušauskas. This composition represents a significant departure from the club's history, which previously saw an all-Danish core secure four Major trophies.
Although Astralis previously qualified for the PGL Singapore Major, the new roster must compete in five matches before the invite cutoff to qualify for in-game stickers. The team began this process on October 14 during the Stake Pulse Beat III tournament against Sashi.
