Critical Role and hololive production have officially unveiled Shattered Legends, a collaborative actual play miniseries set within the Exandria universe. This project, sponsored by Ultra PRO, marks the first partnership between the two entertainment groups.
The series utilizes the Daggerheart fantasy roleplaying system, a 2026 Gold ENNIE Award winner published by Darrington Press. Gameplay mechanics center on Hope and Fear cards to influence narrative progression and character development.
Matthew Mercer serves as the Game Master, guiding a cast that includes Marisha Ray alongside hololive talents Nerissa Ravencroft, Mori Calliope, Shiori Novella, and Gig Murin. The production is scheduled to premiere in mid-November 2026.
Viewers can access episodes via YouTube and the Beacon platform, with Japanese subtitles provided on YouTube. Beacon subscribers receive additional content, including a Session Zero character creation special and post-episode Cooldown discussions.
Future plans for the collaboration include a promotional convention tour spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. Additional details regarding exclusive merchandise and project updates will be shared at a later date.
