Micro Center appears to have ceased sales of the GeForce RTX 5090. Multiple listings on the retailer's website are now marked as Not Carried, a status typically indicating that a product has been removed from the active catalog and will not receive further restocks.
While custom models from manufacturers like ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte remain visible, they are currently out of stock at physical locations. The only remaining unit reportedly available at most stores is an ASUS ROG Astral model included within a 20th Anniversary bundle priced near $11,000.
A Reddit user reported that staff began removing cards from shelves on October 9, with employees suggesting these were the final units available. This activity aligns with unverified claims that NVIDIA may have ceased allocating GB202 silicon to the RTX 5090 to prioritize workstation hardware.
Neither NVIDIA nor Micro Center has issued an official statement regarding these developments. With the RTX 5090 previously selling for $4,299 at other retailers, market observers suggest that remaining partner stock may see further price increases as supply constraints persist.
