SOOP has announced a collaborative promotional campaign alongside Nexon and Aniplus centered on the popular Overgeared intellectual property. This joint effort for the game and animation is scheduled to run for five days, beginning on October 21 and concluding on October 25.
The initiative supports the character name pre-registration event for Nexon's upcoming MMORPG, Overgeared: Overgeared. Through the Cinety content page, SOOP will offer free access to the first and second episodes of the Overgeared ~Power of Items~ animation, while facilitating live watch-along broadcasts for streamers and viewers.
Participants can also engage in a Drops event linked to N-Connect, Nexon's streaming partnership program. By connecting their SOOP and Nexon accounts, users watching designated broadcasts become eligible for a chance to win rewards, including Nexon Cash and Laftel subscription vouchers.
Overgeared follows a protagonist who achieves success using items within a virtual reality game, boasting 13 billion cumulative views across its web novel and webtoon versions on KakaoPage. SOOP intends to utilize these watch-along sessions to further integrate gaming, animation, and live streaming.
