Key information

CD Projekt Red has officially concluded the world vision phase for its upcoming original intellectual property, Project Hadar. The studio has now transitioned into the initial development stages for this new project.

Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski confirmed that while the team has commenced work on the game, it has not yet entered the pre-production phase. This development follows several years of conceptualizing the world and its core elements.

The project is being built as an immersive, open-world experience. As of September, the development team consisted of over 30 staff members, with intentions to expand the workforce to 50 developers by the end of the year.

Project Hadar remains separate from the studio's other major commitments, including the upcoming The Witcher 4, which is slated for 2028, and the subsequent trilogy releases. The specific timeline for Hadar's arrival remains unannounced.
