CD Projekt Red has officially concluded the world vision phase for its upcoming intellectual property, Project Hadar. The developer has transitioned into the initial stages of game development, marking a significant milestone for the studio.

Joint CEO Michał Nowakowski confirmed that while the team has commenced work on the project, it has not yet entered the pre-production phase. The studio spent several years establishing a coherent vision for the world and its core components.

The project is described as an immersive, open-world experience designed to resonate with players. As of September, the development team consisted of over 30 members, with intentions to expand the staff to 50 developers by the end of the year.

The studio remains focused on its broader release schedule, which includes The Witcher 4, currently slated for 2028, and a third expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt titled Songs of the Past, arriving next year. The timeline for Project Hadar's eventual release remains unconfirmed.
