The headphones feature a new chip designed to provide the most powerful active noise cancellation in the series. Additionally, updated drivers aim to deliver improved audio quality with richer bass and clearer vocals.
Design improvements include a return to the foldable structure seen in the XM4 model and a wider headband for increased comfort. The device supports multipoint Bluetooth connectivity and offers up to 30 hours of battery life with active noise cancellation enabled.
Users can now charge the headphones while listening by simultaneously using a 3.5mm audio cable and a USB-C charging cable. The earcups are also designed to be removable for easier maintenance or replacement.
