Remedy has officially announced that its supernatural action RPG, Control Resonant, has surpassed 1 million units sold. This milestone was achieved within the first few weeks following the title's release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC.
The game was released in digital format on September 24, followed by a physical launch on October 15. Remedy expressed gratitude toward players for their time and financial support during this initial period.
The project required an investment exceeding 55 million euros, with partial funding provided by Annapurna Interactive. While the path to full profitability remains ongoing, the company considers this sales performance a positive step toward recouping the development costs.
With the Standard edition priced at 59,99€ and the Digital Deluxe version at 69,99€, the current sales figures suggest approximately 42 million euros in revenue after platform commission deductions. Remedy estimates its share at 21 million euros, bringing the developer close to recovering its reported 27,5 million euro expenditure.
