The Coalition has deployed the inaugural major update for Gears of War: E-Day. Following the title's market arrival on October 6, this patch introduces comprehensive adjustments across nearly every facet of the gaming experience.
Technical enhancements focus on stability and optimization. The developers addressed memory-related issues and crashes affecting long sessions on PC, Xbox, and portable consoles. Additionally, the Ranked Versus mode has been officially integrated into the game.
Core gameplay modes received significant fixes. The Campaign now features resolved progression save errors and split-screen glitches. Horde Siege mode benefits from corrected enemy behavior and objective functionality, while Versus mode includes refined weapon mechanics and spawn point adjustments.
Despite these improvements, The Coalition acknowledged that some users still face issues regarding missing Campaign achievements and rewards. The team confirmed they are currently investigating these remaining concerns.
