Key information
IO Interactive has officially announced that Hitman: Absolution - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will arrive on the new Nintendo console on October 22. The title will be priced at 29,99 euros, though a special discount will lower the cost to 24,99 euros for those who purchase it before November 5.
The new version introduces several technical enhancements compared to the original Nintendo Switch release. These include higher resolution in both handheld and docked modes, a new Performance mode targeting 60 frames per second, improved visual effects and animations, and support for the Joy-Con 2 mouse mode.
Players who already own the first Nintendo Switch version are eligible for a free upgrade to the new edition. This offer must be claimed by November 5, after which the upgrade package will be available for 4,99 euros.
The game will feature the Contracts mode at launch, allowing users to design custom assassination missions, share them online, and challenge other players to beat their scores.
