Sony has unveiled the latest additions to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Deluxe game catalogs for October 2026. The lineup features a diverse selection of titles, headlined by the prequel Mafia: The Old Country, the open-world action RPG Horizon Forbidden West, and the classic survival horror title Dino Crisis 2.
Mafia: The Old Country arrives as a linear narrative experience set in Sicily. According to an IGN Brasil review, the game excels with its cinematic storytelling, tense atmosphere, and compelling protagonist. However, the reviewer noted that the title is hindered by certain unrefined resources, though the morally ambiguous choices remain a highlight that keeps players engaged.
The update also introduces the cooperative looter shooter Mycopunk, alongside RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition, Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, and The Midnight Walk. Furthermore, subscribers can look forward to Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn Edition and Monster Energy Supercross 25 - The Official Video Game later in the month.
Most titles, including Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, and Dino Crisis 2, are scheduled for release on October 20, 2026. Tales of Arise and Monster Energy Supercross 25 will follow on October 27, 2026. The Midnight Walk is currently available for members to access.
