Key information
Advantech has unveiled two new tower server chassis, the HPC-7046 and HPC-5422, aimed at enterprise AI, robotics, and edge computing. These solutions are designed to provide scalable performance and deployment flexibility for environments ranging from small business offices to factory automation.
The HPC-7046 features a closed-loop liquid-cooling system for EATX/ATX boards, supporting Intel and AMD processors. It includes a 9-slot expansion design capable of housing a triple-width GPU. Under full load, the system maintains an acoustic level of approximately 58 dBA. It also offers 1350 W or 1650 W power supply options and space for up to 8 SATA/SAS drives.
The HPC-5422 is a compact desktop workstation designed for space-constrained edge applications. It supports microATX and ATX motherboards and can be configured for desktop or wall-mount use. The unit accommodates 850 W or 1200 W power supplies to support power-hungry GPUs, alongside five FHFL expansion slots and two 3.5-inch hard drives.
