Square Enix has reclaimed the top spot in the Japanese physical game sales rankings following the release of the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I ~ III]. The title successfully led the market during the period between October 5 and October 11.

Total physical sales for the collection reached approximately 30,000 units. Of this total, the Nintendo Switch 2 version accounted for 23,411 copies, while the PlayStation 5 version recorded 6,261 units sold.

Despite the strong performance of the Kingdom Hearts release on the Nintendo Switch 2, the game did not significantly influence hardware sales. Nevertheless, the console maintained a lead in the market, moving over 22,000 units during the same week.

In comparison, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition sold 11,611 units, while the standard PlayStation 5 model moved 139 units. Other hardware, including the Switch OLED and Switch Lite, recorded sales of 3,102 and 2,066 units respectively.
