Ubisoft has initiated a new round of restructuring, planning to cut approximately 220 positions across several international locations. This move is part of a broader corporate strategy aimed at significant cost reduction and a transition toward a new creative hub organizational structure.

The company has proposed closing the Finland-based RedLynx studio, known for the Trials series. This proposal, which is subject to local negotiation processes, would impact 52 roles. Since 2019, the studio has primarily functioned as a support developer.

In Singapore, the studio responsible for Skull and Bones and contributions to the Assassin's Creed franchise faces a reduction of 70 positions. This represents roughly one-fifth of the total workforce at that specific location.

Additionally, Ubisoft is discussing voluntary departure programs for its German studios in Dusseldorf, Berlin, and Mainz. These measures aim to eliminate about 100 roles, with over half concentrated in Dusseldorf. Negotiations regarding compensation packages are ongoing with unions, and the company has declined to comment on specific proposals.
