Nexon has officially launched the 7.5th anniversary update for its mobile side-scrolling RPG, MapleStory M, as of October 15, 2026. This milestone update introduces significant content expansions, including the new job class Ho Young, a fresh region called Labyrinth of Suffering, and the formidable boss True Hilla.
The new Ho Young class, an Anima thief utilizing a fan, features a unique mechanic where players charge Heaven, Earth, and Human attribute skills to unleash powerful attacks. Alongside this, the update raises the maximum character level to 300 and introduces Ancient-grade Arcane Shade equipment, which can be crafted through a new system.
To support player progression, Nexon is hosting various events, including a 1+4 Hyper Burning campaign for Ho Young and a Terra Burning event for characters between levels 220 and 250. Additionally, players can participate in the True Hilla’s Horror Night event to earn exclusive rewards and event coins.
Global Director Park Young-gyu noted in a video message that this update serves as a foundational pillar for future content. Players logging in during the event period will receive commemorative gifts, including event coins and growth items, with various campaigns running through November and December 2026.
