On October 21, 2026, Impress announced the release of Fusion Power Tour, an educational Minecraft world available on the game's Marketplace. Supervised by the Naka Fusion Institute, this RPG-style adventure allows players to explore the mechanics of fusion energy.
The experience functions as an adventure where players ride minecarts through research facilities and massive fusion reactors. This design provides a sensation similar to a roller coaster while teaching users about future clean energy research.
The world features various learning environments, including offshore research facilities, control rooms with large monitors, and exhibition floors containing reactor models. The content encourages users to understand fusion principles by observing and interacting with the environment rather than just reading text.
Produced by Japan Crafters Union, the project was developed by the UMC Studio creator team led by Shouta. The world is currently available for purchase on the Minecraft Marketplace for 160 Minecoins.
