Wargaming announced that World of Tanks is hosting a limited-time collaboration with the anime series Girls und Panzer. Running from October 15 to October 22, the event introduces the energetic Team Leoponsan, led by commander Nakajima, to the Oarai Girls Academy roster.
The collaboration features the Tiger (P) Leoponsan, a German Tier VI heavy tank designed for flexible tactics. This vehicle includes a unique mobility system that allows for increased acceleration to reach top speeds quickly. Additionally, players can acquire two new all-season 2D styles inspired by the team.
Players can earn Girls und Panzer tokens by completing special missions during the event. These tokens are redeemable in a themed shop for rewards such as voiced crew members, rare 2D styles, emblems, and decals. Assigning all four Leoponsan crew members to a single German tank unlocks unique interactive combat dialogue.
Beyond the new Leoponsan content, the event sees the return of classic items from various schools, including St. Gloriana Girls College and Saunders University High School. Players can also utilize customizable 2D styles to personalize their tanks with various patterns and insignias.
