The newly formed Skydance company, resulting from the merger of Paramount Pictures and Warner Bros. Discovery, is preparing for the theatrical release of the live-action Street Fighter adaptation from Legendary Pictures.
Market projections suggest the film could generate approximately $70 million during its debut. This total is expected to be split evenly, with $35 million coming from the United States and another $35 million from international markets.
This performance is significant for Skydance, as it could push the studio's total 2026 global box office revenue past the $1 billion milestone. Currently, the company ranks fourth in 2026 earnings, trailing Sony Pictures, which has surpassed $1.37 billion.
Following this release, Skydance aims to further increase its annual revenue through a slate of upcoming films, including Clayface, The Cat in the Hat, Ebenezer, Dune: Part 3, The Angry Birds 3, and Mr. Irrelevant.
