GONE Studios officially launched the full version of GONE Fishing on October 20. This survival horror title, which previously entered early access in June 2025, tasks players with catching fish to satisfy a hungry monster to avoid becoming its meal.
The game supports cooperative play for up to eight participants. Players must manage their catch to meet daily quotas while navigating various threats, including giant beasts and ambush predators. Beyond feeding the monster, fish can be processed, gambled, or sold to acquire upgrades and equipment from merchants.
The full release introduces a definitive ending, an expanded growth system, and additional content such as new fish, traps, and items. Steam users have responded positively, with the game maintaining a "Very Positive" rating based on approximately 3000 reviews, which frequently highlight the enjoyable cooperative multiplayer experience.
GONE Fishing is available on PC via Steam. While the standard price is 999 yen, a 33% discount is currently available, bringing the cost to 669 yen until November 4.
