At SAGA Barcelona Game Fest 2026, Don’t Know Studio showcased its upcoming PC title, Archangel: Demon Rush. This dark fantasy game depicts a brutal conflict between demonic hordes and an archangel tasked with defending sacred territory.
The game uniquely merges third-person hack-and-slash combat with bird's-eye view tower defense. Unlike traditional titles, there are no peaceful intervals between waves. Players must switch perspectives in real-time to construct defenses while simultaneously engaging enemies in fast-paced combat.
Strategic depth is provided by a grid-free building system and resource management. Players must protect humans, who serve as a source for health regeneration, while managing tower placement. Roguelike elements allow for character and turret upgrades, enabling players to create powerful builds that can eventually decimate large enemy groups.
The title features gothic aesthetics and heavy metal music. A demo is currently available on Steam with Japanese language support. The developer plans to release the full game in 2027.
