Nexon officially launched the Season 27 Midnight City update for Counter-Strike Online on the 15th. This content expansion introduces a variety of themed items, including new season classes, weapon skins, and cosmetic accessories.
The update adds a new map titled Rose Hearts Street, which features a city aesthetic decorated with ribbons and hearts. Players can experience this environment across multiple modes, including Original, Deathmatch, and Zombie Hero.
Zombie Hero mode received significant mechanical changes, including 18 new skills distributed across nine zombie types. Notable additions include the Voodoo Zombie's single-target healing and the Banshee's area-of-effect pulling ability.
Further improvements include a new zombie-specific supply crate that restores health and armor while resetting skill cooldowns. Additionally, the evolution system for powerful host zombies has been overhauled to allow manual activation upon filling the rage gauge.
Players can earn season badges by playing on the new map until November 12. Furthermore, until February 18, the game will provide kits to test zombie skills, alongside weekly events that allow users to select and acquire specific zombie abilities.
