House House, the independent studio behind the 2019 title Untitled Goose Game, has released its new cooperative adventure game, Big Walk. The title focuses on exploration and puzzle-solving, utilizing unique communication mechanics such as proximity voice chat, gestures, walkie-talkies, and magnifying glasses to help players guide one another through complex challenges.

Following six years of development, the game launched in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2. Notably, the title is absent from Xbox platforms, a decision the developer clarified in a public statement following inquiries regarding a potential release on the console.

House House stated that the exclusion of Xbox is a deliberate choice to support the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement. The movement identifies Microsoft and its gaming division as priority targets due to allegations of complicity in the Israeli military's actions in Gaza, specifically through the provision of cloud and artificial intelligence services. The developer expressed disappointment that this decision prevents some players from enjoying the game with friends, but maintained that the policy will remain in place until Microsoft is removed as a target by the BDS movement.

The developer emphasized that this action is rooted in the belief that collective coordination can influence powerful interests. Given the firm stance taken by House House, it appears unlikely that Big Walk will arrive on Xbox in the near future.
