Kakao Games has announced an offline showcase for its new 2.5D MMORPG, Dokkaebi World, at the upcoming Daegu Content Fair. The event is scheduled to take place at the Daegu EXCO from October 16 to October 17.
Developed by Supercat, the title utilizes a 2D dot character style paired with 3D backgrounds to blend retro aesthetics with spatial depth. The game, which draws on Korean traditional themes, launched on October 8 and previously reached the top spot on the Google Play revenue chart and second place on the Apple App Store.
Attendees can participate in hands-on demonstrations by verifying game installation and official channel subscriptions. Participants will gain access to a special account featuring various costumes and mounts to challenge the Baekun boss raid content.
Visitors who complete the verification and demo process are eligible for rewards including Mongryeon and Myorong pouches, Myorong t-shirts, Park Ji-hoon photo card sets, and in-game hat selection coupons. The event is hosted in collaboration with Redice Studio, the IP holder of the original work, Myeolgwisudojon.
