The tactical shooter Wardogs is set to launch its second season on October 15 at 9:30 AM UTC. This update brings a variety of additions, including a fresh arsenal, new vehicles, and expanded fortification options for the battlefield.
To address faction imbalances, the developers are experimenting with a bribery system for the Lonestar blue team. Players will receive extra cash and XP for Lonestar victories, alongside a 20% vendor discount for factions trailing by at least 40 points to help them equip better gear.
Four new weapons are joining the game: the TCX-SPR assault rifle, the PP-19 Bizon submachine gun, the Evo-3 Ultra light machine gun, and the M14 marksman rifle. These additions are supported by new attachments like optics, magazines, and bipods, all integrated into a revised progression system.
While some community members are enthusiastic about the scale of these changes, others have expressed concerns regarding the new economy and logistics adjustments. The developer, Bulkhead, notes that the faction rewards are currently an experiment rather than a permanent solution.
