Activision has unveiled the content roadmap for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, detailing a series of updates leading up to the official launch of Season 1 on November 6. The rollout begins with early access periods for the campaign and DMZ mode, followed by a steady stream of new maps and game modes throughout late October.
The schedule commences with campaign early access on October 17, followed by DMZ early access on October 21. On October 23, a significant expansion of content occurs, introducing numerous new maps including Kill Block, Cachette, Coal, Lithium, Lotus, Mumbai, Munition, Nautical, Reactor U92, Rooftops, Sentry, Silkworm, and Transit 213. Additionally, specialized maps for Ground War and Gunfight modes will be available.
New gameplay experiences arrive on October 23 with the introduction of Hijack, Inflation, Collateral, and Ground War: Combat Outpost. Players will also gain access to established modes such as Frontline, Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Kill Confirmed, Domination, Team Deathmatch, Free-For-All, Gun Game, and Gunfight. Further updates include the Shipment map on October 27, followed by Possession Mode on October 29 and Infected Mode on October 30.
These updates serve as a precursor to the full integration of Season 1 for both Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and Warzone, which is scheduled to begin on November 6.
