Key information
Developer House House has officially confirmed that Big Walk will not be released on Xbox Series consoles. The studio addressed the decision following numerous requests from fans asking for ports of the title, which has been recognized as one of the most acclaimed games of 2026.
The studio stated that the choice to skip the platform is a direct result of their alignment with the BDS movement regarding Palestine. House House has designated Microsoft and its gaming division as a priority target for boycotting, citing the company's alleged activities as the primary motivation for this exclusion.
While the developers expressed regret over the decision, noting that they want the game to reach the widest possible audience, they intend to maintain this stance. The studio confirmed that as long as Microsoft remains on the BDS list, Big Walk will not be brought to Xbox Series hardware.
Despite this platform limitation, the game has seen significant commercial success, reaching one million copies sold within just six days of its release. The title has also been featured on PlayStation Plus, where it has garnered positive reception from players.
