M2 celebrated the 10th anniversary of its M2ShotTriggers series on October 10, 2026, at an offline fan meeting in Ueno, Tokyo. The event highlighted the company's commitment to expanding classic titles with features like M2 Gadgets and accessible SUPER EASY modes.
Attendees previewed Armed Police Batrider (tentative title) and Senjin Aleste. Armed Police Batrider features a new SUPER EASY mode with automatic bomb activation and adjusted enemy attack patterns. Senjin Aleste, arriving March 18, 2027, on PS5, PS4, and Switch, introduces the BLADE mode. This mode features the Blade Missile, a versatile weapon that clears enemy bullets and provides tactical depth for both beginners and advanced players.
Director Daisuke Koizumi noted that the Blade Missile was designed to help players overcome difficult bosses, aiming to attract those less familiar with the genre. Meanwhile, M2 confirmed that the final version of Armed Police Batrider will include M2 Gadgets to track items and hidden boss conditions.
Additional announcements included Edward Ragtime Show, a collection of Data East classics, and a console port of Devil Blade Reboot. Furthermore, the arcade title Kyukyoku Tiger is now available on the ALL.Net P-ras MULTI version 3 platform as part of the M2ShotTriggers ARCADE initiative.
