Publisher Team17 and developer Wonderscope Games have announced that Hokko Spaces, a spin-off of Hokko Life, will release on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch. The title is scheduled to launch on October 29 at midnight, which corresponds to October 30 in Taiwan time.
The game shifts the focus of the original series toward a relaxed sandbox construction experience. Players are tasked with designing miniature dioramas and creating ideal living spaces for various animal residents, maintaining the cozy art style established in the previous entry.
Players have access to over 300 decorative items, including benches, campfires, and flower pots, alongside five distinct terrain types like grass and stone paths. Customization extends to environmental settings, allowing users to toggle between four seasons and adjust weather effects to curate their personal therapeutic spaces.
The game features 26 unlockable animal visitors, accessible by completing tasks such as clearing weeds. Additionally, a day-one DLC titled Lei’s Beachside Pack will be available, introducing a new character named Lei and beach-themed items like life rings and lifeguard chairs. This content can be purchased separately or as part of the Hokko Spaces: Sunshine Edition bundle.
