Neos announced that the Steam version of Culdcept BEGINS is scheduled for release on October 28. This title, which serves as the latest entry in the long-running series by Omiya Soft, blends board game mechanics with card deck building.
The PC release introduces three new battle maps and ten additional book cover designs. Developers have also implemented a card name reading feature within the library and refined visibility for character positioning, path intersections, and card selection menus.
These technical enhancements aim to improve overall usability and gameplay flow. Neos confirmed that these specific updates will be provided as free patches for the Nintendo Switch and future Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the game.
Players can access a preview via the Steam Next Fest October edition. Upon launch, users may purchase a Digital Deluxe Edition featuring five digital items, including an original soundtrack and a complete card book. A separate digital content set will also be available for existing Switch owners.
