Pearl Abyss recently collaborated with players of Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile to organize a charity event for children suffering from rare diseases and their families. On October 16, the company visited the National Cancer Center to host various programs and deliver donations.
The initiative was organized in partnership with Make-A-Wish Korea. During the visit, Pearl Abyss provided magic performances and caricature sessions for the attendees. Additionally, 100 children and their family members received gift sets and merchandise.
The contributions were made possible through active player participation. Black Desert users completed in-game quests involving delivering dolls and transporting gift boxes. Meanwhile, Black Desert Mobile players selected specific items, such as winter supplies, moisturizing products, and stationery, to be gifted to the children.
Pearl Abyss has maintained a partnership with Make-A-Wish Korea since 2021 to support children with rare diseases. Their ongoing efforts include granting wishes, hosting office visits, and providing mentoring programs. Last year, the company held a similar event at Asan Medical Center in Seoul.
