Gravity has officially released its self-developed basketball card game, NBA Rise, across global markets. The title utilizes official licenses from the NBA and NBPA to feature authentic player cards, team logos, and match data, incorporating the latest team rosters for the 2025-2026 season.
The game focuses on strategic deck building, allowing players to scout and train athletes to form dream teams. Mechanics include a tiered progression system through card training and promotion, alongside a synergy system based on team positions. Players can engage in various modes, including PvP arenas, PvE season matches, and club-based RvR content, with a market available for trading items and player cards.
During a July closed beta test, users praised the game's potential and high level of completion regarding its IP integration. Participants highlighted the satisfaction of implementing personal tactics and intervening in matches in real-time. Gravity's global mobile business team lead, Noh Geon-seok, noted that the game aims to provide a realistic experience mirroring actual basketball matches.
NBA Rise is available for download on Google Play and the Apple App Store in regions including South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and New Zealand. To celebrate the launch, Gravity is hosting multiple events, including daily login rewards through December 31 and community engagement incentives running until November 10.
